Quote of the Day
Andrew posts a very apt quote of the day, which applies all-too-well to the McCain campaign and its successful attempts thus far to work the refs:
"If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers," - Thomas Pynchon.
Remind you of the reason why normal journalists have been brainwashed into asking McCain's favorite distorted talking point: "Why do you refuse to acknowledge the surge has succeeded?" I wonder when will they start asking him "When did you stop beating your wife?"
I suspect this quote will also be especially apt after Charlie Gibson gives what I expect to be a softball interview to Sarah Palin this week.
